this is an airplane drama in which a concorde plane was trying to destroy by one industrialist cause one of the passanger here gather some documents that this industrialist giant is involve in nuclear weapon activities, the scene i love in this film is the special effects on how the pilot manuever the concorde to fly like a war plane in whichthe plane avoid the rocket launched by an enemy plane, its superb you can enjoywatching this movie..

Any movie with Alain Delon, Bibi Andersson, Charo, Martha Raye, Cicely Tyson and Mercedes McCambridge in the cast is at least worth a look. But, the odd cast combination is unfortunately the only interesting thing about this film. It is long and drawn out, far too many scenes where not much of anything happens. The score is over done, the special effects are surprisingly poor and obvious. The melodramatic acting is not very good in spite of the caliber of performers, although Martha Raye is memorable. The screenplay is actually rather stupid and is not in the least bit convincing. Watch Airport or better yet, Airplane! instead.

[b][i]:fresh: The Concorde ... Airport '79 [/i][/b]is the last entry in the, in my opinion "great" Airport series, this is one of my favourites in the series, it doesn't deserve the negative critsicm it got and still gets! Underrated film

Worst Airport movie, going back to what was wrong with the original - the disaster doesn't really happen till the final act. Really bad special effects.
