Brilliant and fun film that takes a few cues from 2001 and The Day the Earth Stood Still. Excellent effects, story and characters. Like T2 some of the effects can still hold up today.

Jelly fish/angel like aliens want to end humanity because of man's war-like nature. Love between Lindsey and Bud(main characters) prove to the aliens that Love is still in the human heart. A great film. check the extended version which is the best version. On my best film list.

The Abyss is one of the Wonderful and Beautiful Alien Movies I have ever seen. I liked the Idea Aliens Underwater.
