Mississippi Burning (1988)

One of the best films about racism you will ever see. Also has two strong performaces from Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe.

Outstanding! Great movie about racism issues in the state of Mississippi. The cast worked well and the story was amazing. It's a really sad and shocking movie, but still a "must seeing" movie. It's one of those movies that make you stop and think about it.

Mississippi Burning is an excellent civil rights film, I was skeptical about it because these types of films tend to be depressing but the acting is awesome and while 1964 Mississippi is depressing the story keeps you interseted until the very end.

This is such a hard movie to watch. Granted I was drunk when I watched it but I was so close to crying. Even though Brad Dourif is playing an asshole in this film he still looks hot
