7.5/10 Texas Chainsaw 3D is the best you can get for a pretty solid movie with bunch of B movie actor or performances, the movie can easly be disasterly bad movie if the rest of a teenager except Alexandra Daddario have quite a lot of time, they're performance are not awful but they're character that i just cannot stand how cringe they are, there's a lot of thing that help Texas Chainsaw 3D became a pretty good movie, the leatherface was great, the goryness was also great, Alexandra Daddario did a good job and for my personal experience throughout the film, i was into it and i was not bored, Texas Chainsaw 3D is like the real serious version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 with the exact budget and cast, but overall i really enjoy Texas Chainsaw 3D surprisingly and i did think overall it's a pretty good one.

A sign of how desperate the series' producers have become is that the big twist here is that Leatherface, the slobby butcher-boy demon in his mask of human skin, is now...the good guy. (That's a ''jump the chainsaw'' concept if ever there was one.)

The tone and style were probably the closest to the original film out of all the sequels, prequels and remakes so far. The film started very much like the original but changed into a strange morality tale where you felt compassion for Leatherface. I would have preferred to see him solely as the villain. It’s still a fun ride with plenty of violence and slightly tacky 3D elements. The first true sequel with the same spirit is as you would hope. Shame it took nearly 40 years.

No creo que sea tan mala como dice la mayoría, obvio se queda muy lejos de ser remotamente buena como la original, pero si es inmensamente mejor que las dos horrendas secuelas de la trilogía original.

I'm fine with trying to re-invent some aspects of horror classics, but that concept was forced and made no sense at all. Also, while I don't expect award winning performances in this genre, I do expect some level of mediocrity. The acting was more dreadful than expected, especially the lead actress. The gore (which is why you watch this, right?) was comical.
