Joe D'Amato's notorious video nasty. Didn't make much sense, only served its sole purpose of shocking the audience with lots and lots of gore. Some of the scenes were remarkable considering it's low budget. But watching this film really tires me out with it's horrible horrible soundtrack, over synthesized score nearly killed me. Do not consume anything while watching this.

Awful video nasty which was banned in the UK for years until recently. The only reason it is so maligned for so many years was the foetus eating scene. But hey, if youâ??ve seen one foetus eating scene, youâ??ve seen them all. The narrative is senseless, the acting abysmal and direction directionless.

I have to say I am disappointed with horror movie fans these days, especially since most of the garbage they like isn't half as good as this film truly was. I am shocked they all proclaim this flick to be so bad. It may have its slow parts and the dubbing and editing may be poor but it delivers some of the creepiest most intense death scenes ever filmed. The score to this film is very creepy in a festive way and the fetus eating scene made me not want to eat meat for weeks*

I was apprehensive going into this film because I had heard it was really gross, but I need to watch 30 horror films this month, so I gave it a shot. Ultimately the film was really boring and not really gross at all with the exception of 2 scenes. If you are a horror buff, you might want to check it out, but don't expect much. By the way, the blind girl is the spitting image of Elijah Wood.
