Just a fantastic film. Strongly suggest watching the original before going to see this, as there are several subtle references (and some not so subtle) back to the original that play much better if you have seen the original recently. One joke went over the heads of most of the people in the theater, but a small group of us laughed. Anyway.. this film manages to revisit and recapture much of the feelings of the original without just following the same plot note for note. One of the better films I have seen in a while!

Loads of nostalgia and memberries but that's okay seeing as there's so much character development, and the nostalgia itself is a character. As they say, we're tourists in our own youth. As bright, fast, weird and funny as the first in my opinion with some genuinely beautiful moments. Thank god it's not shit.
