Not particularly interesting or enjoyable to watch.

While entertaining with its swipes at everything from health food to the Latin pop craze, the semi-sweet story is about as deep and meaningful as a groupie grope.

Jay Carr 15 Aug 2005

Likable, but at times it's also inescapably sketchy and ramshackle.

Kristal C 05 Aug 2007

Not Allison Anders best but with interesting and believable characters.

Ann Hornaday 09 Apr 2006

An only fitfully engaging L.A. soap opera.
