Single dad Richard meets Christine, a starving artist who moonlights as a cabbie. They awkwardly attempt to start a romance, but Richard's divorce has left him emotionally damaged. i don't know how many times i've watched this, definitely one of my favourite movies of all time. It deals with paedophilia and scat and still manages to be sweet. we should all learn from this film. learn how to be yourself and how to fight. there's only one more thing left to say: ))<>((

You thought it was another pseudo-intellectual Indie film? Wrong. It is a sincere and devastating look at the botched attempts of individuals trying to interact with each other intimately. Finally a masterful piece of work that Roger Ebert lauded.

Second favorite movie ever. This movie is a terrific analyzation of human relationships. Parents and children, brothers, friends, and of course lovers. It's beautifully written and artistically portrayed with an incredible cast of actors. Miranda July is one of the most easily relatable characters and actresses to make an impression on me. This film is a jem.
