Single dad Richard meets Christine, a starving artist who moonlights as a cabbie. They awkwardly attempt to start a romance, but Richard's divorce has left him emotionally damaged. still haven't stopped laughing at the "back and forth" scene!!! This movie reminds all of us how distant and alienated our world has become...whatever happen to the good ole days of face-to-face conversation :)

Careful poetry and tender comedy all jumbled up in a sweet little ball. It has the acrobatic, surreal, and quirky style of a great piece of postmodern fiction.

i don't know how many times i've watched this, definitely one of my favourite movies of all time. It deals with paedophilia and scat and still manages to be sweet. we should all learn from this film. learn how to be yourself and how to fight. there's only one more thing left to say: ))<>((

Wow wow wow! One of the best independent films I have watched in a long time. Miranda July is a genius. Highly Recommend it. One of my all time favorite movies.
