Why has it taken me 13 years to catch up with this movie, Bassett and Lewis look mighty fine and nice to see hero that doesn't win all of the fights

This movie is quite interesting, kind of got lost in the mix of more flashy movies in the 90's but it is a very well made and dense film with alot to offer. Kathryn is an interesting film director, not run of the mill Hollywood.

The play with the turn of the millennium dates this movie, but it is still an amazing tale, and I think the character of Lenny Nero is just amazing - tragic and beautiful.
