not alot of depth...but quirky and funny...would have appeal to a wide audience...definitley worth a look

This is insane. How can there be so many wildly varying opinions on one movie? Sure it's mindless, but there are insanely funny parts throughout the entire movie, including giant set pieces and small, very subtle, and smart stuff that goes by so fast, it's hard to catch it all. I understand some people saying it's not their cup of tea, but others seem to catch the randomness of it, and also seem to understand this is a really really low budget movie that had more laughs in it than many big mainstream comedies. The clips that Jeff Garlin shows in his office to Zahn and Covert are worth the whole price of a rental alone.

What rankles isn’t the gross-out humor or the verbal non sequiturs, which are expected, even welcome, in this sort of movie. It’s the smug sense of entitlement -- that of intoxicated dweebs tittering endlessly and obnoxiously at their own supposed cleverness. “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle” is the gold standard in this genre. Strange Wilderness is a counterfeit bill.

This movie was so funny!! I think they should make a show based off of the movie. Funny animal documentaries. I wasn't even high the first time I saw the movie and I laughed like crazy especially the laughing shark part. Everytime they repeated the shark reel and he laughed, I would laugh even harder. Great movie! These ratings are so outrageously wrong!
