I don't think it's good compared with the first one! And I dont find it the vampires horrible as the first one with those fierce-looking features.

Again vampires, but ugly vampires ... :) Somebody this movie can see like a romantic story about Stella and Eben :) Don't know what to say ... But scary I think not

That's 2 stars for throwing in a sex scene. Other thanthat... this was a complet let down. It failed to live up to it's predecessor and it just sucked on on levels. I expected to see less light considering the title.. but whatever..

On the whole, it's well above-average, especially for sequels, but the very thing the made the original so effective - the paralyzing, inescapable isolation of a place like Barrow, where no one can hear you scream - is deliberately forgone. The more aggressive, vengeance-centered result plays more like a zombie film, and it honestly seems to draw more from Left 4 Dead than its own predecessor. I enjoyed it, and many of its elements (especially Mia Kirshner's creepily Victorian performance, and the film's gorgeous opening credits sequence), but it was simultaneously a chore to finish, so needless to say, I won't be revisiting it any time soon.

Not bad for a sequel. I was quite disappointed that they made the heroin so dumb at the end just to make way for a possible sequel.
