Okay, so everybody says this feels more like an episode of the series than a movie. Why is that bad? Isn't the point of the movies the fact that people loved the series so much they wanted more? Given this, I think this was an excellent film. If it conjured memories of the syndication years, that's a good thing. Frakes continues to direct well, the guests are great (again), and the storyline is a good one. My only complaint is that the composers went back to relying heavily on the series soundtrack, which is a somewhat lazy thing to do (especially after the excellent score on "First Contact").

This is another underrated Trek. It's sin it taking to long to get to the point. However it gets better with repeat viewings.
