Young Thomas Dekker, Christopher Reeves, Kirstie Alley, John Carpenter directing....need I say more??

Good remake of the prince of darkness, John Carpenter. There the alien connection with the childrens is clear (they're hybrids!!!). The eyes effect is amazing ! The music by carpenter is great to.

More like cast of the damned. There's more typecast performers in this great movie than you'd think possible.

Based on John Wyndham's 'The Midwich Cuckoos', this film was one of the better sci-fi stuff remade from classics. Though they should have incorporated more from the book since the movie did miss out a couple of major pointers and themes, this was relatively a faithful adaptation of the book. Not forgetting an excellent star cast. Reeve was effective, the kids were awesome, especially the one playing the leader..she was chilling!
