One of the best Star Trek films ever. Edge of your seat entertainment.

The best pre-Abrams StarTrek by far. The best "Next Gen." movie for sure. The Wrath of Kahn comes in second. Yay Kirk!

This is easily the best of the movies with the Next Generation cast. Picard and his crew travel back in time to stop the borg from stopping Earth's "first contact" with aliens. I'm not gonna lie: the borg scared the CRAP out of me. They're even scarier in this movie than in "The Best of Both Worlds," the Next Generation episode in which they were first seen. Special credit should go James Cromwell as Zephram Cochran. Remember, he did this movie not too long after "Babe" and he couldn't possibly have chosen any two more different character. An exciting story along with a wonderful score by Jerry Goldsmith make this one of the best of the Trek movies.

This is no doubt, one of the best sci-fi films ever made! It is also the second best in the Star Trek Series!

I would not go so far as to call myself a Trekkie, but I do follow the different series. Still, this feature was the best the franchise had to offer (hell, a great sci-fi movie Star Trek or no), and will easily deem it as one of my favorites. Jonathan Frakes does a wonderful job for a feature film, and I can only wish to see more of his work. The Borg ("Definitely not Swedish," says Lily - trailing behind Picard) are portrayed as one of the deadliest enemies that mankind has ever encountered, and this film gives us a truly terrifying storyline to explore just how unlike us they are (or are they?). Sure, as with any reaching sci-fi epic, there are some plot holes, but never so much as to spoil any of the fun.
