I would say this movie is the most humorous movie of all Star Trek movie Although it may seem random but plot is funny and not loosely connected. As a huge Star Trek fan, I enjoyed this movie the most. LOVE IT!

Probably my most favroite movie. Its Trek as it was suppoused to be not serious but lighthearted and some great back up cast. (Any one notice that Gillian and Decker from ST TMP ended up together playing on 7th Heaven)

Sensational entry in the series and--in my mind--one of the finest science fiction features ever assembled. Remarkably directed by Nimoy (who also shares story credit) adding a much needed softer and lighter touch (especially after the grim events of the past two episodes). Of course the special effects are top notch. Fantastic score by Leonard Rosenmen.
