Ha. Ha. Hahahaha! Monster has lightbulbs for eyes, pisses on priests and is called Rex! Whats not to like? Also fun because the annoying child actually does die!

RawHead rex is a great film that almos never gets he respect it so rightfully deserves. I believe it was the first film to be made that was based on a Clive Barker story (from the Books of Blood Vol. 3) and Barker even wrote the screenplay. The writing and acting are surprisingly good, but then again, this was made by Empire Pictures, who have released some of the most well-made low budget movies ever. The one thing I dislike is how Rawhead Rex looks. For an example of this, remember the Giant Claw? Rawhead Rex has the same thing going for him. he's pretty cool, in a ridiculous sort of way. I was amazed at how well it follows the chain of events in the story, even though some of the characters' names have changed, and they added a scene where Rawhead terrorizes the residents of a trailer park. I's all bloody good fun, even if the ending is extremely stereotypical.

I don't care what anyone says, i like this movie...probably because of Barker's concept...a true horror fan would appreciate it for all its pros and cons.

the movie that clive barker would love to forget! not very close to the short story even with the barker penned screenplay. still one of my favorite 80's horror films. this would be a great candidate for a modernization! [if done well] at least they kept the scene where the preacher gets 'baptized' by rawhead's urine which was one of the most disturbing aspects of the short story. but they cut waay back on rawhead's taste for the flesh of children. if you haven't seen it. good luck. it's quite out of print right now in the usa.

Une infame bouse adaptÃ©e d'un scÃ©nario de Clive Barker (encore furieux de la faÃ§on dont ses Ã©crits ont Ã©tÃ© malmenÃ©s). Le film est mal jouÃ©, les effets sont cheaps et le monstre est aussi flippant qu'un Casimir punk.
