Steven Spielberg's "Raiders of the Lost Ark" gives the young child in us a lovable archeologist hero, Indiana Jones, with an extremely fun, blockbuster action-adventure flick that must stop Hitler and the Nazis from recapturing the long-lost ark.

One of the best most entertaining movies of all time! Sure, it is in the tradition of serialized popcorn adventure thrillers. Don't let that fool you though, the Spielberg direction is phenomenal. Innovative, great pacing, and excellent action sequences that stands out as some of the best to ever come out of Hollywood. The story and plot contains just enough supernatural mystery to thrill and excite the imagination. For such a movie as this, it is the highest compliment to state that this movie combines the aforementioned ingredients to transport the viewer to that childlike place of wonderment and wild imagination.

This is the adventure that started it all, and it's still great! Ford is pitch perfect in this franchise and delivers the perfect blend of heroism and comedy. This film is still exciting to watch 30 years later

This was an extremely fun movie. Great performances, great humor, great action, and one of the best intros I've ever seen. Definitely a great movie.
