Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004)

When gigantic robots attack New York City, "Sky Captain" uses his private air force to fight them off. His ex-girlfriend, reporter Polly Perkins, has been investigating the recent disappearance of prominent scientists. Suspecting a link between the global robot attacks and missing men, Sky Captain and Polly decide to work together. They fly to the Himalayas in pursuit of the mysterious Dr. Totenkopf, the mastermind behind the robots.

I love this film because my brother was involved and I got to see how the film was made.

Although some aspects of the film really don't work (I'm looking at you Angelina Jolie), this movie is chock-full of fun, and really feels like an old-time serial from the 30's and 40's. Jude Law is great as Sky Captain, and Paltrow/Ribisi are excellent. This movie really is a lot of fun, and it's a shame so much financial pressure was put on it to be a summer blockbuster because that really isn't what this movie is.

well umn not seen this movie in ages but i thought that this was a good movie 2 watch..its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that jude law, angelina jolie, bai ling, gwyneth paltrow all play good parts throughout this movie...i think that the special effects throughout this movie were pretty kewl..i think that the director of this Action & Adventure, Mystery & Suspense, Science Fiction & Fantasy movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie its a good Action & Adventure, Mystery & Suspense, Science Fiction & Fantasy movie 2 watch
