Stargate: The Ark of Truth (2008)

SG-1 searches for an ancient weapon which could help them defeat the Ori, and discover it may be in the Ori's own home galaxy. As the Ori prepare to send ships through to the Milky Way to attack Earth, SG-1 travels to the Ori galaxy aboard the Odyssey. The International Oversight committee have their own plans and SG-1 finds themselves in a distant galaxy fighting two powerful enemies.

I'm such a Stargate geek - hee! A great way to wrap up Season 10 and usher in the movies!!

OMG!! Everything I hoped for and 10 times more!!! Absolutely incredible! I have been watching this show for 10 years. The only show left that I have to watch as soon as it airs, including the spinoff Atlantis. If you never watched the show, much of the movie will be confusing. You have to know all the history of the Go'uld, Replicators and ORI to understand this movie. Speaking of Replicators... there was a twist that I never saw coming. The parts on the ship where they were fighting them off was something out of a hi-tech horror movie. The Replicator-Zombie was awesome!!! I just finished watching this 5 minutes ago so I am still on a bit of a high. But I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Stargate.

GREAT MOVIE! A great way to end the Ori story line that started in Season 9 and went through season 10. It makes the series finally so much better to know how the Asgard helped in bring down the Ori. Definitely worth several watches, but it might be a good idea to watch Stargate SG-1 season 9 and 10 to understand Arc of Truth more. Granted only a true Stargate fan can appreciated this movie in its entirety.

Considering how much they had to pack into a film I felt they did a great job. It felt like a long episode, which is fabulous in my opinion. As a die hard Stargate SG1 fan I was SO happy with it and cannot wait for Continuum. Although, after Continuum there is no more, this makes me want to cry a little. Great movie all around!
