best version yet, keira knightly as elizabeth was perfection, and though this was the first i'd seen of the lead actor i thought he was the perfect mr darcy

I am a sucker for Jane Austen... The whole cousin thing in Mansfield park kind of creeps me out but I love watching all of the Jane Austen films. By far this is the BEST Pride and Prejudice adaptation. I loved it so much I decided to have a go at the book... it made my head hurt LOL so I will stick with the movie! If you enjoy a good romance movie now and then I definitely recommend this one!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! Not a fast moving action or comedy. Nice peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful movie. So romantic...ahhhhhh P.S. the book is incredible as well!

I am quite certain I have watched one of my favorite films of all time for the first time. I'm unabashedly fond of romantic movies, and there are few that fit the bill so well as Pride & Prejudice. Every moment of the 2 hours was immensely enjoyable. The dialogue, characters, story, and actors were each superb. I cannot recommend this movie enough. I won't say much more about it, only that it is joyous to watch and I loved it tremendously. One of the best of its kind.
