Sin dude todos conocemos las maldiciones de las películas basadas en video juegos, sin embargo Detective Pikachu cumple con todas nuestras expectativas, la historia tiene muchos giros y eso es lo que la hace adictiva, además el diseño de todos los Pokémon son simplemente impresionantes y en su mayoría . Una película muy bien echa.

This movie was everything I could have hoped from a Pokemon movie. It was funny, it was adorable, it was nostalgic. It truly is a love letter to all Pokemon fans and I left that theater wishing Pokemon where real like never before.

For a live-action movie adaptation of a video game franchise, Detective Pikachu does a great job making the pokemon real while trying to fit a more reasonable story in a game-physics-based world. I find only 1 section of the film needed more writing work, but it doesn't wreck the film if corrected. Overall, it is impressive work, a decent mystery, and a touching story.
