Theres no word to describe this film other than; magical. I love this movie with its adult actors, catchy songs, lavish sets and special effects, and it being more about the humanity in the villain rather than being about the titular characters.

Walt Disney's take on P.L. Travers novel, as well as with Robert Stevenson's directions, sets for one of the most memorable musicals ever created for the big screen, with an outstanding leading performance by Julie Andrews in her most iconic roll, along the astonishingly charming Dick Van Dyke, among others in a well assemble cast that mixes perfectly with the timeless musical numbers, beautiful songs and a highly emotional-yet-marvelous childish approach that represents the best out of Disney.

This is one of Disney's best movies ever and one of my favorite movies of all time. Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke's performances were stupendous but especially Julie Andrew's performance. The supporting cast also gave fantastic performances especially Glynis Johns, David Tomlinson, Karen Dotrice, Matthew Garber, Hermione Baddeley, and Reta Shaw. The animation and visual effects were gorgeous and spectacular. Every song on the soundtrack was amazingly catchy and fun especially Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Chim Chim Cher-ee, A Spoonful of Sugar, Let's Go Fly a Kite, and Feed the Birds. The scenery was great. A definite A+ from me.

"A spoonful of sugar" is not all it takes for Mary Poppins to become a forever remaining addition to my library of streaming movies!!!
