On The Job is about the ambitions and passions of four men trying to make a living, for themselves and their families. It shows the parallels between two prison inmates who are contract killers, and the two agents of the law investigating the murders. There are many unexpected ironies in this film. But I guess, when you live in the kind of world this film depicts, one must do what is needed to survive. And the reckless young, often falls into the trap of thinking they are different (and a world changer) and falls too soon. I hope this film will get the chance to have a sequel soon.

In my opinion, one of the best Filipino films of its time. On the job doesn't hesitate in discussing the political turmoils that plague the country. The cinematography and quality of the shots shown in this video was also a cut above the rest.

Great casting, Great acting, Great violence to story ratio and to top it all off its cognitively engaging. As well as being a sleek action flick, it has relevance to the modern Philippines without stomping it down your throat.
