NOVEMBER CRIMINALS- 40% I wasnt very amused with November Criminals, I was very excited for this movie for the amazing actors like Ansel Elgort and Chloë Grace Moretz. However, the story was average without any revealing plots or interesting rising actions. I liked how Sacha Gervasi showed the character development, and the closure. The movie is Okay. Story wise and execution: 0.94/3.5 Acting: 1/2.5 Camera work: 1.05/2 Sound: 0.96/2 Overal Score: 1.98/5

It's not terrible, and the characters are likable, but, much like its vague title, this teen crime thriller, which also has elements of comedy and romance, never finds its center or its voice.

Strong casting, the story was ok. I really liked the actors and how they brought life to flat characters. The technical sides of the film were really good. I liked the props, costuming, and a few other design choices. I'm giving it 4 stars based on design elements and acting. Docking a star because the actual plot was simply not interesting.

(Mauro Lanari) Steven Knight wrote a film littered with weaknesses: the coming-of-age story about a teen couple who in NYC is tossed between the yet to be discovered sexuality and the death that inevitably returns. The meta-cinematography of the mockumentary is annoying, David Bowie as an existential model seems exaggerated to me, and the two protagonists struggle to interact credibly.
