I have always wanted to seet his movie to know history better. It wasn't bad but I was feeling sleepy with those dialogues and the lengthy viewing time.

magic!!!!Where does one begin. This is exquisite. Directors with the passion like Mr Asif are just not around.

Classic Indian cinema. Very beautiful. I'm torn between savoring the clean crisp black and white of the original version and wanting to see the expensively colorized re-release. The scant few color scenes in the original are eye-popping. All in all, an incredibly gorgeous film.

I grow up watching in B&W and man was I excited when it came out in colour. Briiliant script, acting songs and the addition of colour gave it a new dimension.
