Possesses the art and craft of a good movie, but not the story.

This movie was initially supposed to be released in October 1999. Its trailer was in theaters in Summer 1999. However, due to a flood of "end of the world" movies coming out at the same time (End of Days (1999), Stigmata (1999), et cetera), the decision was made to delay the release. Its new date was February 4, 2000. However, that date was cancelled, after the popular "Scream" franchise staked out that date for Scream 3 (2000).

One of those movies where what your mind sees is much more scary than what is shown. That said Last Souls had itÂ´s moments but never arrived to its full potential, which was a lot. Still worth a look though just to see what your mind can conjure up.

Janusz Kaminsky gives us a very elegant Film to look at. Some people might not like the plot (I do; 100%), but it's undeniable how elegant is made. Awesome.
