*Not* a singing-dancing extravaganza (phew!) about long-lost love, life and fate. This is his first and in my opinion best film.

A film about every love imaginable, even if some of them are not meant to be, "Lola" is driven by the comings and goings of many people, but it is even more driven by the Beethoven that slowly plays in the background.

lots of movement and vibrancy in a film about people who are unfulfilled, emotional restlessness vs static lives, with a sense of hope and the constant search for meaning.
