This film is one of the very few big budget crocodile movies ever made. And if you love crocodile movies, then this certainly is the first one to watch. It's an enjoyable movie. It had a good amount of action and a decent story and some good characters in it.

One of my favorite horror movies. A silly idea, but supported by a great cast who seem to enjoy the movie they're making. Lake Placid features brilliant effects by Stan Winston, and sparkly, sarcastic dialog; it moves well and tells a fun story. This is somewhat balanced by the utter excrement of the 3+ sequels that followed it. Give it a shot!

yup, i know its all a bit silly...but the black comedy script is hilarious. Pullman, Platt and Gleeson all on screen, making a good hash of this ol' croc.
