sorry people but i love this film but i is a big horror fan, if you like horror films you might like this

I wasn't too pleased with the ending, but not all movies are perfect. However this is still a great movie to watch. It shows how people can be persuaded to do anything for just the right thing.

J.T. Walsh, Ed Harris and Max Von Sydow are perfectly cast for this film. J.T. Walsh in particular plays someone that most closely resembles that of a true Stephen King character to a tee. An angry, foul-mouthed sociopath tailor made for the devil's manipulations. A well made film.

I actually really like this and think it captures what made the novel so great, you get the sense of a community going crazy. Ed Harris is the perfect Sheriff Pangborn and by far the shining moment of the entire movie, but it's also a very well made movie. The attention to detail and crazy characters are all touched on, it only enhances the world set up in The Dark Half. While it's not perfect or one of the best Stephen King movies, it's nowhere near bad.
