Award winner for the movie with the worst effects ever. But its sci fi. What do you expect. But when i first saw it i thought it was from the 70s but it was made in 06. Kind of scary there

I was disappointed in how un-Krakenlike the creature was. It was a giant CGI squid that Charlie O'Connell was going after for eating his parents when he was little. It was cool to see him go all aggro on it in the end with a machine guy. Super tense! Added bonus: there was a pre-Glee Cory Monteith in this movie.

Strangely not the worst squid movie, but it is up there. Bad acting, lame plot, faily poor CGI, overall you can tell that this is a very low budget canadian made movie. I saw this on the movie network under the name Deadly Waters, not sure why they changed it, but it sucked just the same.

Sci-Fi Original pictures classic, right up there with Loch Ness Terror, Sabretooth, and Alien Apocalypse.
