In general, I love musicals. I have to say I got bored on this one though. :( Some of the dancing was fun, though. :)

funny yet lengthy musical in a musical. songs weren't that catchy but the colourful sets and the shakespeare plot make up for it. "brush up your shakespeare, start quoting him now. brush up your shakespeare and the women you will wow." :D

Cole Porter's music and lyrics are genius in this musical comedy adaptation of Shakespears Taming of the shrew. If you like funny, witty, and an all around good time classics then you'll like this one.

Loved it. The music is fantastic (yay for Cole Porter!). It has little hints of hilarity, romance, and poignance. Considering its age, still very modern.

How many times did I watch this growing up?! Plenty. Has great song & dance numbers. Very funny version of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.
