Reecently bought the DVD of this classic version of ALW/TR production. I genuinly think I enjoy this more than the show. The performances are fantastic, particularly Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson who play Jesus and Judas. The choreography is a bit dated but just such a classic film telling the ultimae story but from the view point of Judas.

I have loved this movie my entire life. It was made the same year I was born and my family has made a tradition of watching it at least once every year. The acting and story line was a superb addition to cinema.

I loved this movie. It was so epic is so many ways. Can't see what the big big is against it. Its just as serious minus the blood.
