I consider this the definitive Woody Allen movie. If you want to know why I like Woody Allen, watch this. If you still don't get it, it's your loss.

This is definitely his edgiest, rawest work in a good while. Acting is of a very high caliber across the board, but Judy Davis, in a very meaty part compared to her previous walk-on for Allen in “Alice,” is incandescent, revealing a whole new side to her personality that has never surfaced onscreen before.

Just re-watched this for the 5th or so time...and Woody Allen hits the mark here...a very brutal and honest film about marriage. Love it.

the best from judy davis, and pollock, mia once again the mewing little kitten act, great movie tho'
