This silent short shows Chaplin as a waiter for a food service company who ends up on a roller skating rink. Lots of funny gags.

There is plenty of fun provided by Charlie Chaplin on the rollers and he displayed a surprising cleverness on them. A number of funny falls occurred as was looked for, with Charlie outshining and outwitting any of the others on the floor. When he couldn't trip the "big guy" who was attempting to cop his girl, he used his old standby, the bamboo cane.

It's amazing that this is still funny after all this time but that's a sign of genius. Split into to segments, firstly Chaplin a s a waiter who has some interesting ideas as to what the resaurants patrons should be eating and secondly the 'rink' which proves the perfect arena for Chaplin's slapstick.

A joyfully nihilistic short with premonitions of 'Modern Times' throughout. It's fun to see Chaplin muck up so many situations in so many places, and here he goes from making a mess as a witer in a fancy restaurant to knocking everyone flat in a roller-rink. Full of plenty of physical humor but lacks pathos. Still, what the tramp can do on roller skates is amazing.

I liked how they had everyone on skates, it was pretty funny, but the story needs more attention in this one, it doesn't have much of a story, and it would have been funnier with a good story behind it.
