State of Bacon tells the kinda real but mostly fake tale of an oddball group of characters leading up to the annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival. Bacon-enthusiasts, Governor Branstad, a bacon queen, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, members of PETA, and an envoy of Icelanders are not excluded from this bacon party and during the course of the film become intertwined with the organizers of the festival to show that bacon diplomacy is not dead.

A mockumentary which is about All Things Bacon. This movie takes you into the Iowa Bacon Festival where you see what actually happens there. It is one of the best Mockumentary I have ever seen. This movie includes a pack of Icelanders, Kid Journalists, an interesting humorous talk about Bacon and lots and lots of bacon. This is a must see Mockumentary because this movie has been so well produced to make it enjoyable to the viewer. Not like one of those movies with a boring Narrator. And as we all say OHHHHH... Bacon. I will definitely watch it again.

If you like bacon and you like to laugh, then you will not be disappointed! Very entertaining and I actually learned a few things about this interesting festival (which I would actually like to attend). Go see it!

Funny Movie, it made me really hungry at the end...this mockumentary was fun and entertaining to watch and made me launch throughout. Is this a real festival because I really want to go..

I had a chance to see this and it was utterly entertaining and presented a side of bacon that I had never seen! It was humorous, eye-opening and very interesting to see the impact of this delicious breakfast side we call bacon. Very well done!
