Great cinematography and direction except at some places when the camera zooms unnecessarily. I loved the snow in black and white, it created good contrast between the people with black dress and the surroundings. The movie is so realistic and beautiful.

Hong Sang-soo's film looks incredible, but his characters are tiring to listen to...Maybe it was because this is the director's least boozy film in a while, but even this cast of Hong regulars seems to be having a hard time making it fly.

Such is the nature of this movie. It’s like a series of charcoal sketches with marginalia; there are unexpected mini-flashbacks, and even a visualization of a poem. Hong’s free style isn’t showy; there’s a stillness holding the film together at all times.
