randomly came on tv one day.. i watched it and was shocked that by only seeing mainly the end half of the movie how powerful it was..really great..but its not funny...real serious subject matters...the speech at the end brought me to tears

Lloro cada vez que la veo. Tal vez porque cuando Kate y Spencer se miran uno siente que el amor va mas alla de la pantalla. Ademas, el se murio poco tiempo despues de rodarla. Pero bueno, mas alla de eso es una maravillosa pelicula con dialogos increibles. La escena donde maestro Poitier discute con su padre es una joya.

With no special effects or action sequences, this movie relies solely on its dialogs and the amazing performances by its all-star cast. Even though this movie is over 40 years old, it shows how much American society has changed and how much are still the same. An unforgettable movie; especially a film so bold to have been made during the 60's.
