One of the first cinematic pieces from English Canada to achieve international acclaim. A gem of a film that captures the social marginalization and alienation of two Maritime outsiders trying to make it in the big city.

Once watched this 4 times in a row for a school project and it has been haunting me ever since. Perhaps as perfect a film as I have ever seen. A Canadian classic for a reason.
