Matt, a young glaciologist, soars across the vast, silent, icebound immensities of the South Pole as he recalls his love affair with Lisa. They meet at a mobbed rock concert in a vast music hall - London's Brixton Academy. They are in bed at night's end. Together, over a period of several months, they pursue a mutual sexual passion whose inevitable stages unfold in counterpoint to nine live-concert songs.

A very interesting film that had a unique way of being filmed. I loved the bands playing in the movie especially Franz Ferdinand!! I liked how it goes back and forth from the music scenes to the scenes with the couple....the film has a lot of sex in it, but that is never a bad thing. I liked the steamy romance between Lisa and Matt....very sexy!

If you're a fan of the 'now' bands on the soundtrack or an art film buff (or a dirty old man), 9 Songs may appeal.

Yes it had a story to tell and it could only have been told this way. But why bother telling it? Waste of time.

The story was nonexistent but I give it 4 stars based on the size of that guy's dong alone. Holy shit.
