Matt, a young glaciologist, soars across the vast, silent, icebound immensities of the South Pole as he recalls his love affair with Lisa. They meet at a mobbed rock concert in a vast music hall - London's Brixton Academy. They are in bed at night's end. Together, over a period of several months, they pursue a mutual sexual passion whose inevitable stages unfold in counterpoint to nine live-concert songs.

It's ashame that the sex side of the film is what is mainly advertised here.for underneath all of that is a truly beautiful story.The idea of cutting back and forth from the live music footage to the two characters is interesting enough, but this is such a modern love story, It's an honest film.

I think,for me...this could express the feelings of 2 rock music lovers,and also this pair of lovers..I could feel that is so true that rock music could make u to lose yourself and it could control all the things like your mind..and I think it's sooo real that because of the make love scene,this is to explain the love and wishes between this couple..soooo real!!
