May be a continuation of its spawned anime and being somewhat indescribably less-valued, this upgrade refreshes the original with dazzling animation, some depth and same entertaining style whilst followed the common direction of a franchise reboot, which was helmed by the same director that showed the faithfulness. An excellent prequel to the first film, drawing elements from the Anime series to make a head spinning action/cerebral story worthy of standing beside the other films. If you are a fan of the movies or a fan of the series, you want to see this.

While it may not be the most engaging anime movie made, Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie cranks up the sci-fi action, twists, and excitement fans of the original anime will come to expect, plus it expanded my interest in checking out more of the anime for myself!
