If you only watch one japanese anime, make it this one. Great story, characters, action and plenty of blood and gore

Beautiful artwork and the storyline is great. The action is almost non-stop and the political web of deceit is awesome.

God dammit this movie is awesome. Any movie where a giant rock man rips out someones arms and drinks the blood gets 5 out of 5 where i come from.

A true classic in Japanese anime movie. If you love anime, you have to have this. This is actually the only anime that I can watch in English. The translation and voices aren't that bad. Japanese verison is always better. But such a great movie. I still want them to make a live version of this.
