Just watched it again. And love this addoptation of the manga. Truly unique sci fi. Highly recommended for anyone who liked the original manga.

The best thing one can do is to decide for themselves if a movie is good for them or not. There are too many hate reviews from people who pretend they know what GTIS is, how to act, how to create a movie, how, when and what to watch and what is best for you...the reader and consumer. This is just an advice you already know. But please, if you consider yourself a critic and feel the need to let us know you professional opinion, please...please be more tehnical. Let us understand why you feel that this movie is not good at all. Don't throw that tipical: "I know what GTIS is and this isn't it! It has no ghost." At least speak for yourself. Don't pretend that your opinion is objective and better than mine. I saw this movie 3 times and I'm ready to take on, in a discussion, any self entitled critic. Guys...go watch it.

A different direction but still entertaining. Always a sucker for future earth movies. Maybe they made her less Japanese in her prosthetic form to hide their secret program? Stop bitching and enjoy the show. It's not whitewashing it's trying to get a payday to keep the ball rolling. Here's hoping they get to keep playing for Aramaki's sake.

The film is great, a good actors' play, a chic world. I really liked! It seems to me that he was simply underestimated, too stressed that the first actress is not of Asian appearance. The second is trying to merge with the adaptation of the anime, but then changed the moments, simply making it more realistic, otherwise they would start saying that the film simply licked or not quite taken off or something else. As for me the film turned out gorgeous. Everything is looking for a deep meaning and all that , This film is the beginning, here it is more paid to that that, the Major tries to understand who she is, and who she was. In the anime, the story is more unfolded by the fact that it just starts from the thick of events, and the film tells about the self-knowledge of the character.

I thought it was great! They took the characters and ideas from the original shows and put them together in an interesting new way. I loved the original, but I'm glad they didn't do an exact remake. IMHO this version gives us a more interesting story with some great nods to the original and lots more character development for the Major and Batou.
