See this movie! See it! I laughed out loud several times and smiled out loud the whole time. It's like if Wes Anderson directed once. Sort of like if Wes Anderson combined once with The Life Aquatic.

Despite this being a film about an Egyptian band stranded in a forgetten town in Israel, it is far from a musical. Instead, writer/director Eran Kolirin delivers a wonderful film full of characters who immediately pull you in, hinting at layers underneath while revealing just enough humanity to intrigue. It's a quiet film with warm comedy that focuses on the inflections before and after lines are spoken and how loneliness, hopes and diappointments show no prejudice.
