good movie but insane ! not the typical movie that I like to watch. However, I couldn't help myself but to watch it.

This incest-is-best story has always annoyed me. Why does it take years for the kids to bust out of that attic? This Lifetime version is especially embarrassing. Poor Ellen Burstyn... she deserves so much better. And was Heather Graham always a dreadful actress? Or is she just rusty? God-awful women's network junk.

watched this tonight on lifetime and really liked it! is enjoyable and quite intense. good drama throughout. especially liked the chemistry between the older kids. would watch them in other movies. will definitely watch again and again! :)

I remembered watching the old 80s film version of this story when I was a kid and this one looked good with a cast that looked their parts but the movie was very flat, fairly boring, with very dull performances by most of the cast. This TV movie version went at a fairly brisk pace also, not allowing for much character/story development, not giving the sense of long isolation the children went through nor much tension either. Pretty disappointing when this story has so much potential as an epic film, mini-series or even a full TV series.
