Boy we are good at out there scripts. Superb acting, script and cinema. The accomodating Salvation Army tambourine girl - ???? Cracks me up everytime!

One of the best black comedies I've ever seen. Inspirational in a really messed up way. If you can stomach the first 45 minutes you will love this movie. Really, though, you have to get through to the end. The ending makes up for all the weird f'ed up stuff this guy goes through.

Blown away...utterly and completely speechless...shocked...in awe. Just some of the things I felt after watching this movie. Incomaparable to anything else that I've ever seen. De Heer's film is a brave and utterly convincing analysis of human spirit and experience. Using opposite extremes to highlight the possibilities/choices that are on offer to us (as self-conscious creatures) during our lives. Technically and cinematically adventurous too, with a stunning central performance from Nicholas Hope, Bad Boy Bubby is cinematic perfection in my eyes.
