Evil Dead (2013)

Mia, a drug addict, is determined to kick the habit. To that end, she asks her brother, David, his girlfriend, Natalie and their friends Olivia and Eric to accompany her to their family's remote forest cabin to help her through withdrawal. Eric finds a mysterious Book of the Dead at the cabin and reads aloud from it, awakening an ancient demon. All hell breaks loose when the malevolent entity possesses Mia.

out of all the scary films i saw on my tv i never saw a movie that had so much blood . sure a 1981 evil dead was good but this is one of the gore fest movies i had ever seen . sure i saw james wan's saw and it wasnt epic as evil dead remake .

As a giant fan of the original, I had high hopes for the reboot and it did NOT dissapoint! Evil Dead takes a different approach from the original but makes all the right moves! For me, It is a breath of new life to a somewhat stagnant genre that will leave you anxiously waiting for more!

Excellent remake 5/5 . Jane Levy is fantastic . "I'll swallow your soul" live on . If you like horror this film is for you.
