dark, brooding and depressing. Great use of color and music. Loved the atmosphere of the whole movie. Maria Bello give a top notched performance, but I can't help but feel something is missing from this movie.

not hard to watch as some people suggest. yeah, it's depressing, sensual, violent, and disturbing, but so is real life. Maria Bello is amazing. this is a walk in the park compared to "Irreversible." if you have the stones to watch that movie until the very end, you will truly appreciate that film.
