Sid and Nancy (1986)

January 1978. After their success in England, the punk rock band Sex Pistols venture out on their tour of the southern United States. Temperamental bassist Sid Vicious is forced by his band mates to travel without his troubled girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, who will meet him in New York. When the band breaks up and Sid begins his solo career in a hostile city, the turbulent couple definitely falls into the depths of drug addiction.

A great biopic/drug movie based upon the real life story of 70's punk rocker Sid vicious from the sex pistols he was born in may of 1957 in England and his American girlfriend nancy spungen who was born february of 1958 both of them had very short lives but overall Sid and nancy shows that the story of what really happened Sid's band the sex pistols were big hit right around when the dead Kennedys,and the ramones were big at the time too Sid killed nancy overall a great movie.

Classic. Gary Oldman is one of the most amazing actors of all time, playing diverse characters from Sid Vicious to Beethoven...brilliant!

I trully belive courtney love should have played nany, around the time this movie was made courtney looked exactly like Nancy Spungen. also the jingle from the tour bus scene still beats my knobbs when disscussing this film . I need a Job, I need a Job, I need a good job, one that satisfies my every need! remember that part? lol, This film is a grity story of two lovers totaly destroyed by drugs and sexin the big city of NYC, allthough sid vicious didint contribute much to the sex pistols musically sid and nacy's reckless love for one another trully made the sex pistols larger then life at the time and over time have reached legend status.
