Wherever lies the truth of the central narrative, what is irrefutable is the awesome talent on display from all involved. Nancy is a heartbreaker, and that's a good thing.

Andrea Riseborough is the one to watch in this harrowing yet empty story of a damaged woman trying to make her life have any meaning by hurting does of other people. It raises difficult questions about someones mental state, but never gets close to give them a proper answer.
