This was a great comedy for its time. Bette Midler and Richard Dreyfuss were great. Mike the dog is the best character.

NICELY CAST, ESPECIALLY BETTE MIDLER AND NICK NOLTE. WELL MEANING BUT ULTIMATELY IT DOESN'T COMPLETELY SATISFY. THERE ARE SOME FUNNY MOMENTS ALONG THE WAY AND IT DOES ENTERTAIN.

So this is my favorite film. I like everything about it, and while now it may be a little dated, I still enjoy it with every viewing.

This movie is pretty old. I remember seeing it on Tv when I was young. The house is sure amazing. but Bette did a good job acting. It's okay
