This film truly is hilarious, as well as intelligent and insightful.

An 80's comedy that is hilarious. I saw this on TV; if you ever get the chance it's worth a watch.

Saw this as a kid when I was eleven. I hated it then and I'm guessing I still will.

A funny and poignant if also broad reworking of Renoir's classic, Boudu Saved from Drowning, Paul Mazursky's satire also works as a critique of L.A. nouveau riche and their crass lifestyle, reflected, among other things, in the garrish color palette.

NICELY CAST, ESPECIALLY BETTE MIDLER AND NICK NOLTE. WELL MEANING BUT ULTIMATELY IT DOESN'T COMPLETELY SATISFY. THERE ARE SOME FUNNY MOMENTS ALONG THE WAY AND IT DOES ENTERTAIN.
